Popular Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly set to get married to her long-term boyfriend and actor Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024. According to various Calvary media reports, the couple, who have reportedly been dating since 2020, will tie the knot on June 23, 2024. Ahead of their wedding, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha was interviewed and the veteran actor said that he too had been waiting for his daughter to inform him about the wedding. As soon as this statement came out, many people were confused and speculated that there was discord between father and daughter.

One glance showed Sonakshi lovingly holding her father’s hand and smiling broadly. Sharing the photo, the actress wrote, “Happy Father’s Day, my pillar of strength,” above the photo and added a “#1 Dad” sticker on it.

When Shatrughan Sinha said he and his wife were waiting for their daughter to inform them about their wedding
After reports of Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding hit the media, the actress’ father spoke to Times Now. During the conversation, Shatrughan Sinha said that he and his wife had been waiting for the announcement of their daughter’s marriage to them. He further added that he knew as much about her wedding as the media did. Shatrughan Sinha speaking further on this point said:
“Main bhi utna hi jaanta ho jitna main media maine padha hai. If she trusts me, my wife and I will send our blessings to the couple. I want to say that whenever my daughter gets married, I want to be there Dancing in front of barat. People around me asked me why I didn’t know this and the media also knew this. All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche agree nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain. Wait for notification.

Meanwhile, celebrity stylist and Zaheer’s sister Sanam Ratansi took to Instagram on June 16, 2024, to post about the rumored couple Sonakshi and Tashi who are about to get married Photo of Zaheer. The actress wore an ensemble and was happy posing with her fiancé’s family. In the photo, Sonakshi is seen standing next to her future father-in-law Iqbal Ratanshi. Sanam posted the photo with a red heart emoji.
