Police arrest man suspected of killing, sexually assaulting Maryland woman Rachel Moran last year.
The Harford County Sheriff’s Office announced on June 15 that, with the help of federal law enforcement, Victor Martinez-Hernandez Taken into custody in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Suspected of murder and rape in connection with the 2023 killing of the 37-year-old mother of five.
“So far, we understand that the suspect shown on the screen is a 23-year-old Salvadoran citizen who illegally crossed into the United States in February 2023,” the Sheriff said. Martinez-Hernandez was booked into the Tulsa County Jail just after midnight on June 15 and will be extradited to Maryland, Galle said. The suspect is also in ICE custody pending possible transfer to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, according to legal records obtained by E! information. He is being held without bail on a judicial complaint as a fugitive. No attorney was listed for him.
