“We couldn’t finish a close game and as a team we didn’t perform well,” he admitted.

Despite the early setbacks, Babar expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance, particularly their ability to end the game on a positive note with a win.
“Yes, we finished well. We took early wickets with the ball. But with the bat, we didn’t finish well. We lost wickets in succession but eventually got over the line.”
Babar acknowledged that Pakistan needs to recover quickly from this setback. However, he remains uncertain about his future as team captain, with no clear indication of his plans.
“Let’s see, what the team needs and I will agree. We have a lot of good players and we have to go home, chat and see what we are missing and then come back,” he added.
