“She’s the Goop founder, a door-knocking, Shakespearean, consciously uncoupled Hollywood superstar. He’s a retired optometrist from Utah. In 2016, they went skiing,” synopsis for the show from Awkward Productions read. “On the slopes of Deer Valley, their worlds collided, and so did they—literally. Oops. Seven years later, in 2023, they went to court. Double ouch. This is their story. Sort of. . Not really. But, it’s also Christmas.”
The musical, which opens at London’s Pleasance Theater on December 13, is summarized as follows: “A story about love, betrayal, skiing and (somehow) Christmas – you be the judge!”
As for who will play the Oscar winner?Well, that honor belongs to Linus Cap although Joseph Martin Plays Sanderson.The show will also feature original music Leland.
Tickets are currently on sale at the theater website Tickets for opening night are already sold out. The musical will run until December 23.
